On March 7, 2026, the eve of International Women's Day, soprano Mar Morán from Badajoz returns to the Sala Trajano in Mérida alongside pianist Belén Castillo from Mérida to present the recital “Ecos de libertad” (Echoes of Freedom). An evening celebrating the power and beauty of the female voice in zarzuela and Spanish opera/song, at 8:30 p.m.

On March 11, 2026, Badajoz soprano Mar Morán will join the Badajoz Municipal Band for the first time as a guest soloist on stage at the Teatro López de Ayala , conducted by Vicente Soler Solano.

In this concert, Mar will perform a selection of some of the most famous arias from the operatic repertoire, such as the aria Les oiseaux dans la charmille from Olympia in Offenbach's Les contes d'Hoffmann and Sempre libera from Verdi's La traviata, in an evening that brings the brilliance and virtuosity of the soprano voice accompanied by a symphonic band to the audience.

Mar Morán will perform as soprano soloist in Requiem in D minor, K. 626 by W. A. Mozart, alongside the Orquesta Sinfónica de Segovia and Coral Ágora, under the baton of Álvaro Mendía.

Organized by the Fundación Don Juan de Borbón, this monumental choral-symphonic masterpiece stands as one of the most profound and moving works in the sacred repertoire.

Mar Morán will appear as a guest artist in the Zarzuela Gala organized by the Fundación Padre Arrupe, taking place at the prestigious Auditorio Nacional de Música in Madrid.

The soprano will take part in this special charity concert dedicated to Spain’s lyric genre, bringing her voice and artistry to one of the country’s most important concert halls for a truly meaningful musical morning.

The gala forms part of the Foundation’s charitable initiatives, supporting its educational and social mission.
